2012 Bugatti Veyron Car Fastest And Most Expensive In The World
One of fastest cars on the market (production models, as opposed to concept cars), measured by high-speed testing (theoretical speed does not count).
Bugatti Veyron Super Sports $2,400,000. This is by far the most expensive street legal car available on the market today (the base Veyron costs $1,700,000). It is the fastest accelerating car reaching 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. It is also the fastest street legal car when tested again on July 10, 2010 with the 2010 Super Sport Version reaching a top speed of 267 mph. When competing against the Bugatti Veyron, you better be prepared!
The 16-cylinder “W” configuration engine is fed by four turbochargers and features 64 valves, generating 1001 horsepower at 6000 rpm. The engine draws on its 8-litre displacement to deliver a maximum torque of 1250 Newton-metres between 2200 and 5500 rpm. With full-time all-wheel drive, the car’s phenomenal power produces breath-takingly dynamic handling, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.5 seconds. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 benefits from aeronautical and aerospace technologies, making it the fastest production car ever made. The car also features a braking system designed to deliver unprecedented powers of deceleration, establishing a new industry benchmark. The carbon-fibre discs provide brake pressure of up to 180 bars, combined with eight-piston monobloc callipers and titanium pistons fitted with fine steel heads and ceramic heat protectors. Apply the brakes at speeds above 200 km/h, and the rear wing acts as an airbrake, positioning itself at an angle of 113 degrees in less than 0.4 seconds, augmenting the Bugatti Veyron’s already impressive stopping power. The airbrake increases negative lift at the rear of the car to 300 kg, enhancing the braking torque on the rear axle. At 400 km/h, emergency braking will bring the sports car to a complete halt in less than 10 seconds.
2013 BMW X6 Latest Car Concept
The BMW X6 was marketed as a Sports Activity Coupe and combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, all wheel drive and all-weather ability, large wheels and tires) with the stance of a coupé (bold styling, dramatic sloping roof). While slightly longer and wider than the X5, the X6 sits significantly lower and seats only four people, a feature that many started to criticize.
The BMW X6 will again be offered in two models in the US, the X6 xDrive50i which features BMW’s 4.4-liter 400 hp TwinPower Turbo V8 and the X6 xDrive35i with BMW’s award-winning 300 hp TwinPower Turbo inline-6. Both are mated to BMW’s 8-speed automatic transmission for a unique blend of responsiveness and efficiency.
As an alternative to the standard Xenon headlights, the new BMW X6 is the first vehicle in its segment to be available with adaptive LED headlights. The new BMW X6 comes standard as a four-seat model. A three-seat rear bench is available as an option. The luggage compartment volume of the Sports Activity Coupe is 25.6 cubic feet (570 liters) and can be extended to up to nearly 60 cu.-ft. (1,450 liters) by folding down the rear backrests.
As an additional option, the M Performance Package is available in the US. This attractive equipment package is not just cosmetic. It includes an engine upgrade of +15hp and +30 lb-ft of torque on the X6 xDrive35i giving it 315 hp and 330 lb-ft. The increase is +40 hp +30 lb-ft of torque on the X6 xDrive50i for total peak output of 440 hp and 480 lb-ft. In addition, the M Performance Package includes 20-inch light alloy wheels, black chrome exhaust tips, stainless steel pedals, M foot rest and door sills, shadowline exterior trim, anthracite headliner, and optional Carbon Black metallic paint.

Looking like TT and R8s son from the future, this concept car impresses with its curved design, creating a continuous flow from front to the back of the car. The Audi Locus looks really nice, too bad well probably never gonna see it on the streets.

This is George Clooney�s Electric Car Twice The Torque Of A Dodge Viper. you can pack cruise ship levels of torque into something the size of a fat person in a poncho on a Vespa. The Tango T600 is made of carbon fibre, has a 200mph SCCA/NHRA rated roll cage, has twin electric motors that produce over 1,000ft-lbs of torque, it can beat a Tesla Roadster in a 1/4 mile drag race at 120mph and it has a top speed of 130mph.

Now there are some drawbacks, it�s pretty narrow which may be good for lane splitting and aerodynamic efficiency but it�s lousy for cornering. The car is also a little bit on the pricey side at 108,000 clams, although to be fair the company is working on a new, far less expensive model called the T200.
There�s a video below of the Tango T600 beating the Tesla Roadster in a drag race and the Tango clearly wins, it�s hard to mess up a drag race in an electric car as there is no gear shifting, you just hit the gas pedal and clench. The Tango has also resoundingly beaten Shelby Cobras and Corvettes on the 1/4 mile black top. This could be the ultimate sleeper car really, it looks like a Smart Car but it can embarrass a toupee wearing Ferrari driver at the lights. Sounds like a bucket of fun.

At this stage one year ago, the Fusion was 2096 sales ahead of the second-ranked Toyota Camry.
But Camry volume has tumbled 13% through the first half of 2014 in advance of the updated MY2015 Camrys arrival. And the second-ranked Accord is down 2% this year, struggling to match the 2013 pace that saw Accord sales rise to a five-year high.
The Fusions June increase was certainly not symbolic of an overall improvement in the midsize sector, however. The Chevrolet Malibu, Chrysler 200, and Hyundai Sonata all reported year-over-year declines of at least 20%, a combined loss of 1240 units from those three models alone. The Camry, Accord, and Nissan Altima were collectively down 11%, a 485-unit decrease.
Canadian Altima volume has increased in only four of the last 18 months. The overall Nissan brand, on the other hand, is one of Canadas fastest-growing marques.

2014 Year End U S Passenger Car Sales Rankings Top 157 Best Selling Cars In America Every Car Ranked
As a result, cars generated just 48% of all new vehicle sales in the United States in 2014, down from 50% in 2013.

At the top of the heap, however, the best-selling cars produced a greater percentage of buyer interest in 2014. The four best-selling cars in America - Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Altima - generated 18.8% of the passenger car markets volume, up from the 18.4% earned by the four top sellers last year.
Yet while new cars struggled to generate momentum through much of the year, December volume was up 7%. 10 of Americas 20 top-selling cars in December reported double-digit year-over-year percentage improvements, from the category-leading Nissan Altimas 30% jump to the Chrysler 200s 187% boost.

More importantly, as the overall market for cars stagnated in 2014, some brands performed well above average with their car divisions.

³ BMW has chosen to include sales of the 4-Series within figures for the 3-Series, presumably for year-over-year consistencys sake, while also combining the 1-Series and 2-Series. Hyundai does the same with the Genesis and Genesis Coupe. Likewise, Acura has chosen to combine sales figures for the RLX and its predecessor, the RL.
Sales data for brands such as Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Rolls-Royce etc. are unfortunately not broken down by model. ANDC estimates say sales for those brands in 2014 were 1224, 2100, 708, 172, and 900, respectively. Tesla, unfortunately, doesnt release model-specific monthly U.S. sales data, but Automotive News now issues estimates for the brand, and those estimates say Tesla sold 2200 cars in December; 26,400 in 2014. HybridCars.com, however, has typically estimated much lower Model S sales, 1900 in December; 16,550 in 2014.
