2008 BMW M3

The all-new 2008 BMW M3 is powered by a 414-hp 4.0-liter V8 engine with 6-speed manual gearbox and variable M differential lock with power. A new 7-speed M double-clutch transmission is offered with Drivelogic, designed for high-speed engine with no interruption of power and torque switch. There are eleven electronically controlled driving programs in M-specific set-up, five shift programs in automatic mode and six in manual mode including Launch Control for maximum acceleration from a standstill.
