"The attractive thing about working with Pininfarina, is that you again get a different, very specific views on issues such as luxury and exclusivity. Because especially for these issues is Pininfarina has always been and proves again and again fine feeling and special refinement. In them we have found the perfect partner to make this vehicle concept take shape, "explains Karim Habib, Head of BMW design.
"The result of this cooperation is much more than the sum of its parts." said Fabio Filippini, Head of Design at Pininfarina, more. "If two such experienced and traditional brands to realize a common vision created something completely new and exciting. This mutual respect for the identity of the other entity at any time was formative for cooperation."
With the Gran Lusso Coupe, the two manufacturers have shown how a luxury coupe of the future might look like without that is lost in the DNA of BMW design.
