YZF125R 2009 wallpaper and reviews

YZF-R125 specifications
motor news YZF125R 2009
ALL NEW FOR 2009
  • In the supersport liter class, theres always lots of talk about power. You expect that. What you wouldnt have expected until now is a radically superior way to deliver that power. Introducing the 2009 YZF-R1, the first ever production motorcycle with a crossplane crankshaft. Crossplane technology, first pioneered in MotoGP racing with the M1, puts each connecting rod 90 from the next, with an uneven firing interval of 270- 180- 90- 180. This all but eliminates undesirable inertial crankshaft torque, which allows the engines compression torque to build smoothly and provide a very linear power delivery out of the corners. Its a feeling thats simply unmatched, like having two engines in one: the low-rpm torquey feel of a twin with the raw, high-rpm power of an inline 4. In fact, the new YZF-R1 is not a continuation of existing supersport development; it is breakthrough technology that represents a paradigm shift in both technology and performance.
  • This next-generation R1 keeps all the technological superiorities developed for its predecessor: YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) is MotoGP inspired fly-by-wire technology used to deliver instant throttle response. YCC-I is Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake which is a variable intake system that broadens the spread of power. The fuel injection system provides optimum air/fuel mixtures for maximum power and smooth throttle response.
  • The R1 features Yamaha D-MODE (or drive mode) with rider-selectable throttle control maps to program YCC-T performance characteristics for riding conditions. The standard map is designed for optimum overall performance. The A mode lets the rider enjoy sportier engine response in the low- to mid-speed range, and the B mode offers response that is somewhat less sharp response for riding situations that require especially sensitive throttle operation. Switching maps is as easy as pushing a button on the handlebar switch.
  • In keeping with this machines exceptional cornering ability and crisp handling, the all new aluminum frame has been designed to offer exceptional rigidity balance. The rear frame is now lightweight CF die-cast magnesium, contributing the optimum mass centralization. Suspension includes new SOQI front forks which use one of the tricks developed for our winning MotoGP bikes: independent damping. The left fork handles compression damping and the right side handles the rebound damping. And the rear shock adopts new bottom linkage for optimum suspension characteristics.
  • All new bodywork does more than add break-away-from-the- crowd styling. Completely new, the new model has a more serious, less busy look. The side fairing is smoother for a sleeker appearance. And, instead of the usual four bulb headlight design, the 09 model now has only two projector-type bulbs mounted closer to the nose of the bike. This positions ram air ducts closer in for a more compact, smooth look. In addition, the rounded lenses are new and unique to the supersport industry.

AUTODELTA BRERA S 3.2 COMPRESSORE

Autodelta Brera S 3.2 Compressore is based on the Alfa Romeo Brera 3.2. Autodelta reworking the Brera S 3.2 with their supercharging system, the finely-honed result of almost a quarter-century of developing and applying forced induction principles to Alfa Romeos, completely transforms it and turns the Brera S into a high-performance sportscar perfectly in sync with the driver. The Brera S 3.2 ‘Compressore’ remains a sportscar that is always ready for everyday use in any scenario.

The Brera S 3.2 Compressore uses Autodelta supercharging package with intercooler, drawn from the successful Autodelta J5 3.2 C with a maximum power output of 352 bhp (compared to the Brera S, which retains the standard model’s 260 bhp) and a significant hike in peak torque to 435 Nm (compared to 322 Nm for the standard Brera S model). Traction is further improved by fitting their bespoke mechanical limited slip differential (LSD), which operates in combination with the car’s standard electronic Q2 system.

The Autodelta Brera S 3.2 Compressore also comes with the Autodelta Sportline suspension kit which was developed for the Brera chassis through their exhaustive R&D programme, and has been now optimised for this latest application. The Prodrive suspension promotes excellent performance on smoother surfaces, such as racetracks. The height-adjustable Autodelta Sportline coilover suspension features specific new spring rates and 40 different firmness adjustment settings that can be quickly and conveniently adjusted by the driver.

2009 Alfa Romeo Brera S

ALFA ROMEO BRERA S

Briefed to make the Alfa Romeo Brera S less of a long-distance tourer and more sporty on UK roads, the engineering team at Prodrive developed a unique suspension set-up. Prodrive engineers meticulously experimented with spring rates and ride heights to match the reduced weights of the 2008 model year Alfa Breras. Then followed an extensive damper tuning exercise to achieve the desired ride/handling balance and steering response required by driving enthusiasts in the UK.

Inside the 3.2 V6 JTS Alfa Romeo Brera S, changes are more obvious. Not only are the supportive sports seats upholstered in soft black Frau® leather with red stitching, so are the dashboard fascia, door panels, steering wheel and gearlever. The centre console and instruments are faced in a dark finish. This interior can also be specified on the 2.2 JTS version.
Foot pedals are fashioned from drilled aluminium and the headrest recess houses a limited edition Brera S aluminium plate, featuring the flags of Italy and Britain.
For the record, the 2.2 JTS and 3.2 V6 JTS Alfa Romeo Brera S can reach 62 mph from rest in 8.6 and 7.0 seconds respectively, on the way to maximum speeds of 139 and 155 mph.

The Alfa Romeo Brera S also sounds different from the standard range. The original characteristic growl of the V6 has been enhanced by careful redesign of the rear silencers. Thanks to a Holmholtz resonator connected in tandem with each silencer, the 2.2 JTS model now emits a sportier yet refined burble.
The exhaust has been altered to mirror the shape of the rear lights. Finished with chrome embellishers, they feature a Prodrive logo on the tailpipe exterior. This is just one of several subtle exterior enhancements to the award-winning Alfa Brera, including Prodrive branded front stone deflectors, and a bespoke red ‘S’ or ‘SV6′ on the C-pillar.

2009 Dacia Duster Concept

DACIA DUSTER CONCEPT

After a change initiated by a Renault Sandero rebadgée in Europe, in Geneva Dacia confirms its desire to seduce other than its price. Brand Mioveni proposes a study called simply Duster Crossover, your feather dusters!

The same length - 4.25 m - his cousin Logan, Duster gets rid of any other relationship between the two models, cooperation between the center of Bucharest and the Design of Guyancourt Technocentre has been good.

The concept of top 1.49 m offers a massive style and futuristic at the front, with a large shield to thin air intakes along with LED lights in the wings stretching to the gates and flashing reminders attached the cover.

In profile, the Dacia Duster plays the double-sided with a door cut way drivers side and cut a door opening antagonist passenger side. The rear side air outlets are "pinching" the body and five-pointed white rims 21 inch finish offer a sporty look to it. Stern with its lights in "y" lying and high Dacia integrated into the glass, refers back to a style close to the Renault Ondelios concept ,
Under the glass piece roof / windshield reveals a bluish-black interior seats four original dashboard with a bellows, a steering wheel in the middle portion integrating all instrumentation panel and a driver seat integral part of the console Central. Originality of concept Duster, the transition to two-seater is not done by folding the rear seat, but in tandem with the electrically sliding front passenger seat as the driver.

Although this model is a design study, it is nice to see that Dacia plans to take the path of manufacturers such as Kia, which now offer a modern identity and worked without bite the dust in your wallet.
